Angela Mae Bago / Project Director 

​

Angela Mae Bago is a first-generation Filipino-Canadian woman. She is a freelance Stage Manager and Theatre Technician. She is a recent graduate of Humber College’s Theatre Arts - Technical Production Program. Her production specialties are Stage Management, Props and Paint, but she considers herself a jack of all trades. To further her education, she’ll soon be a graduate of Ryerson University and achieve a BFA in the Performance Production and Design Program. Angela is trained in devised verbatim theatre at Humber; finessed her abilities at Ryerson; travelled with regional tours; toured TYA shows; even participated in some Esports events. Stage managing in the pandemic at Ryerson is just another rollercoaster of learning experiences that will be carved into HerStory.

During her time at the Ryerson she has been on the following Ryerson shows: Production Assistant/Front of House Manager on Choreo (2018); Scheduling Coordinator on Dances (2018); Assistant Stage Manager on Classics (Rep and understudy show) Arms and the Man (2019); Assistant Stage Manager on (Touring) Clown (2019); Assistant Production Manager on 4.2 Hamlet (2020); Stage Manager on Shakespeare Richard III (2020); Stage Manager on a New Voices piece What Now (2021); Stage Manager on 4.2 David and Nina (2021). She has been fortunate enough to receive an abundance of calls and gain a plethora of experience from every single one.

Patricia Mairina / Project Director 

​

Patricia likes to create. Since going to Ryerson University, she’s also grown to love creating with others and helping people create. Immersing herself in arts management, diverse idea generation, and digital content creation, Patricia is a jack of many trades; video editing, motion graphics, storytelling, event coordinating, among other skill sets is her repertoire. As a  fourth-year Creative Industries student, she helps other students, colleagues, and other industry professionals foster an environment that fills in the gaps of various workflows so they can be inspired to elevate their projects and ideas to a higher standard. With her experience in various digital media creation and engagement analysis insights, creating becomes more fun, challenging, and authentic.

Previous projects include: News navigation app in collaboration with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2018) ; Get Working: produced a 1-minute call to action commercial encouraging to use services under the premise of procrastination (2019) ; Creative Industries Course Union Panel Event: Created a catering menu according to budget and audience appeal (2020) ; Home Sick: Game design proposal that covers the essential concepts and principles of bringing a video game to life (2020);  Video Game Research: Female Representation in the early 2010s compared to the late 2010s (2020) ;  Navigating Your 20s: Participating and blogging about Ryerson University Table Talk’s first Twitch live stream/podcast (2021)

Tarique Lewis / Marketing Director 

Tarique is a Jamaican-Canadian actor born in Toronto. Through attending schools such as Mayfield Secondary School, Ryerson University, as well as the Hydrama theatre, Tarique has built an immense background in theatre and hopes to share his love for acting both on stage and on camera.


At his time at Ryerson, Tarique has had the opportunity to work closely with honorable theatre practitioners such as Perry Scheiderman, Marianne McIsaac, and Tim Welham, just to name a few. Tarique was also lucky enough to train with Johnathan Higgins and Laura Nordin, allowing him to express his passion for acting on film. Through his training, Tarique took on notable roles such as Demetrius from Midsummer Night’s Dream and Lussurioso from The Revenger’s Tragedy. Tarique learned and utilizes techniques from the work of many people such as Uta Hogan, Stella Adler, as well as work form Chekov.
Tarique is excited to continue to work on TV and feature films productions as he brings forward his training and experience in film, as well as his background in theatre to amply the experience of watching a film for the audience.

Tina Yeung / Creative Director (Promotion & Graphic) 

​

Tina YEUNG Yin Ting, an emerging new media artist and artworker, who currently studies in Hong Kong Baptist University, Academy of Visual Arts. She majors in art therapy at Georgia College & State University, United States in her academic exchange journey. Now she is working as a gallery assistant in a photography gallery – Lumenvisum. She centres on image-based mediums and forms like photography, 3D modelling, and videography. She is keen on exploring the relationship between digital technology and image. She is obsessed with capturing images by the scanner and creating real-fake objects in 3D software. As a media art lover, YEUNG is conscious of the social media culture and digital era. She is currently investigating internet-based issues like TikTok culture and cyberstalking. YEUNG’s works have been exhibited internationally in Hong Kong, the U.S. and Berlin.

 

Her past exhibitions include “Emerging Design Talents”, Hong Kong (2018) ; "Academy of Visual Arts: Freshman Exhibition 18/19", Hong Kong (2018); “Printmaking Student Work Showcase” at Georgia College & State University, United States (2019) ; “Pathfinder” at Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin, Germany (2020) ; “The Ghosts in Walls” at ITALIC in Berlin, Germany (2020). 

 

She was involved in different creative projects like,“How Real is Real” Exhibition (2017) ; Jockey Club IFVA Everywhere Carnival (2018); Bauhaus 100th Anniversary (2019) ; Art in the Field (2020-2021). In past years, YEUNG also worked as a personal assistant of local media artists – Elaine Wong and Phoebe Hui.

Ivy Ho / Creative Director (Prototype) 

​

Ivy is a year two Visual Arts student in Hong Kong Baptist University. She is passionate about exploring more in the world of arts. Having a broad range of interests, she gets in touch with various fields on campus, namely illustration, painting, sound art, video and glass. In the future, she is enthusiastic and eager to experience more. To live is to learn, going the extra mile is always essential.

​

She had participated in art and social-related activities like, Make Our Seas Come Blue parade (2017): a parade to promote the protection of the Ocean; Standard Chartered Arts in the Park (2017): a storytelling parade of an art fair;  Brunswick-MC x AVA for ImpactHK Fundraising Project (2020): a charity campaign of showing kindness to strangers; and; Outlier creating shared value challenge (2021): to deal with business challenges with design thinking.

​

To improve herself and get prepared for the creative industry, she also attended educational programmes like The Muse Teen (2017): museum discovery programme hosted by the Hong Kong heritage museum; Jockey Club Contemporary Art and Literacy Programme (2020-2021).
